The Shadow Guard is a specialized unit within the ranks of the Royal Guard, first appearing in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game. They served the Sith Lord Darth Vader, acting as his personal enforcers and protectors.
Trained in the dark side of the Force, Shadow Guards wielded lightsabers and wore black armor similar in design to the Royal Guard's red armor, but with modifications to enhance their combat capabilities. They were often tasked with hunting down Force-sensitive individuals and eliminating threats to the Sith.
The Shadow Guard's loyalty to Darth Vader was absolute, and they were considered to be among the most dangerous and skilled warriors in the Galactic Empire. They were formidable opponents, capable of holding their own against Jedi and other powerful Force users.
